We invite you to spend time on Penn’s historic and vibrant campus in Philadelphia.

Special Announcement

The Democratic National Convention will be held in Philadelphia from July 25-28 and may cause travel disruptions in the area. Travelers may find that local accommodations are at capacity and are likely to experience high traffic volumes on both public transit and roadways. Penn Admissions will observe regular business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT during this time.  Recent schedule changes made by the South Eastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA) will have significant impact on regional railroad service until further notice. Please review our directions to campus as well as the interactive parking map to prepare for your visit.

We offer a variety of ways for you to get to know our dynamic community. Campus tours, led by current Penn students, are the best source of information about Penn's history, traditions, and academic opportunities. Campus tours are also a wonderful way to get an insider’s perspective on student life at Penn. To delve deeper, you can attend a class or a school-specific information session.  Additionally, our staff and students are available in the Visit Center to answer any specific questions or concerns you might have. Take a moment to plan how you can make the most of your visit with our Suggestions to Explore Penn. There is an energy on campus that can only be appreciated in person, so please make plans to visit soon!
