Undergraduate Schools
Penn’s 4 undergraduate schools, 12 graduate schools, 3 teaching hospitals, and 165 research centers are all within a 10-minute walk, allowing Penn students easy access to the entire University as they pursue diverse interests.
You’ll start your journey at Penn in one (or two) of our undergraduate schools, but you may take courses in all four. Regardless of school or major, all Penn undergraduates get a premiere liberal arts and sciences foundation while gaining exposure to the fundamental ideas and practices of nursing, engineering, and business. Penn’s flexible curriculum makes it possible for students to sample among more than 4,200 courses (including offerings in more than 50 languages), choose from a variety of interdisciplinary minors, and pursue more than one degree.
Whichever of the four schools they call home, in everything they do, Penn students combine theoretical and practical thinking while developing the tools they need to innovate and lead in a world that demands an increasingly broad perspective.
