Interdisciplinary Programs
The world needs people with intellectual flexibility, breadth of perspective, and the ability to lead. Penn students develop these skills by exploring the richness and breadth of the humanities, sciences, and social sciences while taking an interdisciplinary approach to solving problems. All Penn students have the ability to cross academic disciplines within their “home” undergraduate school and the flexibility to integrate courses, ideas, and research across Penn’s 4 undergraduate and 12 graduate schools. With close faculty advising, Penn students create an undergraduate experience that meets their intellectual interests and career goals. There are as many different academic paths at Penn as there are students.
