Interested in an alternative experience of Penn and Philadelphia?

Join our special Art & Culture tour for a glimpse of Penn's vibrant and unique academic and cultural opportunities in the realms of architecture, fine arts,  art history, film, music, theatre, visual studies, and creative writing.

Tour participants will have the chance to pose questions to students currently majoring in arts-related disciplines. Special registration is required for this tour.

Please click here to register!

Organized by the Penn Art & Culture Initiative.

Whether you plan to be on campus for a few hours or a few days, any visit to Penn should include an information session with an admissions officer and a tour led by one of our students.

As you plan your visit, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Check-in is in the Office of Admissions, located in the ground floor of College Hall.

  • Please allow yourself time to find parking, and find your way to College Hall.

  • Tours take place rain or shine, however we may cancel a tour should weather conditions dictate otherwise.

  • Information sessions are led by an admissions officer and last approximately one hour.

  • Campus tours are led by current Penn students and last approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

  • Undergraduate School Visit Opportunities: Check out individual schedules and offerings.

  • Come prepared for our walking tour (i.e. comfortable shoes, water, umbrella, etc.).

  • Keep in mind that we experience large crowds during popular times of year, such as school vacations, holidays, and during the summer months.

  • Groups larger than 20 people must register using our Group Tour Form.

  • Due to the geographic and socio-economic diversity of our prospective students, we do not expect students to visit campus (though we'd love for you to do so!), nor do we track visits to campus.

  • Due to the large number of prospective students who visit campus, we are not able to schedule appointments with regional admissions officers.

  • Should you have questions or need advice on planning your visit, please call us at (215) 898-7507.

We wish you safe travels and look forward to your visit!
