For Matriculating Students

Your official final transcript must be submitted by your counselor or school official as part of the Common Application’s Final Report form.

Your counselor or school official can send this to us:

We understand that your final transcript may not be available at this moment for a variety of reasons.  However, we expect it to be submitted by your counselor no later than July 1, 2015.  Please note that transcripts must be sent by a counselor or school official.  We will not accept transcripts sent by a student or parent.

Helpful Tips:

  • To be considered for admission, an applicant must submit both the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement.
  • Once you have submitted the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement, you will receive login information within 48 hours to be able to submit the Penn Financial Aid Application
  • Should you need assistance submitting the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement, contact the Applicant Help Center.
  • Questions after the submission of the Common Application should be directed to eapps@admissions.upenn.edu.
  • Send application documents directly to documents@admissions.upenn.edu. This email address is ONLY to be used for submitting documents for attachment to your application record. All required documents need to be sent from your school official's email address.

Deadlines & notifications

Early Decision Application Deadline: November 1

Early Decision Notification: mid-December

Early Decision Reply Date: January 5, 2015 (when the Early Decision admitted student enrollment deposit is due)

Regular Decision Application Deadline: January 5, 2016

Regular Decision Notification: by April 1, 2016

Transfer Application Deadline: March 15, 2016

Transfer Decision Notification: early May
