Early Decision Notification

Undergraduate Admissions Decisions for Early Decision applicants are available. Your decision can be viewed by visiting your Penn Applicant Portal.

Penn Supplement Essay Prompt for entry Fall 2015:

“The Admissions Committee would like to learn why you are a good fit for your undergraduate school choice (College of Arts and Sciences; School of Nursing; The Wharton School; Penn Engineering). Please tell us about specific academic, service, and/or research opportunities at the University of Pennsylvania that resonate with your background, interests, and goals."

Helpful Tips:

  • To be considered for admission, an applicant must submit both the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement.
  • Once you have submitted the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement, you will receive login information within 48 hours to be able to submit the Penn Financial Aid Supplement. Financial Aid Supplements received after the November 3rd deadline will be processed as soon as possible.
  • Should you need assistance submitting the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement, contact the Applicant Help Center.
  • Questions after the submission of the Common Application should be directed to eapps@admissions.upenn.edu or phone: 215-898-7507.
  • Send application documents directly to documents@admissions.upenn.edu. This email address is ONLY to be used for submitting documents for attachment to your application record. All required documents need to be sent from your school official's email address.

Early Decision Notification: December 15, 2014 at 5:00pm EST

Financial Aid Deadlines: See the Financial Aid Checklist

Regular Decision Deadline: January 1, 2015

Early Decision Reply Date: January 5, 2015 (when the Early Decision admitted student enrollment deposit is due)

Transfer Decision Deadline: March 15, 2015
