Congratulations to the newest members of the Class of 2018!
You may have received an email requesting submission of your final transcript. Your official final transcript should be submitted by your counselor as part of the Common Application's Final Report form. Your counselor can send this to us:
online via the Common Application, Naviance, or other online document delivery services
by email firstname.lastname@example.org
by fax 215-898-9670
by regular mail
We understand that your final transcript may not be available at this moment for a variety of reasons. However, we expect it to be submitted by your counselor no later than July 1, 2014.
Members of the future Class of 2019, you may want to start thinking about the required Penn essay. See below!
Penn Supplement Essay Prompt for entry Fall 2015:
“The Admissions Committee would like to learn why you are a good fit for your undergraduate school choice (College of Arts and Sciences; School of Nursing; The Wharton School; Penn Engineering). Please tell us about specific academic, service, and/or research opportunities at the University of Pennsylvania that resonate with your background, interests, and goals." 400-650 words
MyApplicant Portal allows you to track the receipt of your Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement.
You will receive two emails from us in 4 to 5 days after you submit your application. One includes the username and the other your password to grant access to the MyApplicant Portal.
Please allow time for application documents to be processed. Penn Admissions will contact you directly if a required document is missing.
To be considered for admission, an applicant must submit both the Common Application and Penn Writing Supplement.
Do not wait to submit your Common Application. If you have difficulty submitting your application on the first attempt, please continue to try or contact the Applicant Help Center.
The irregular formatting of the essays will in no way affect the careful review of your application.
